Derek bowled a 300 game!!

Wow!  This was a first for me to see!  Derek has bowled many 300 games since he started bowling at age 4, but this was his first 300 game in about ten years!  He bowled the 300 game in the first game of the night during "Summer Grand" league on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Lava Lanes in Bend, OR.

As Derek bowled the first two balls in the tenth frame and scored strikes, the crowd became nearly silent.  We all became aware that another strike would be a 300 game, which is a perfect game!  When all ten pins exploded after he threw his third ball in the tenth frame, the crowd exploded in applause and cheers!  It was really awesome!  CONGRATULATIONS DEREK!!!!!!!

After the shot that scored a 300 game!
(Sorry for the blurry picture.  It was taken on my phone and I was shaking from excitement!)
